1. Each judges aspriant has to take part at a judges workshop. This workshop needs to be taken before the first time shadow judging!
2.a. Each aspriant has to shadow judge a minimum of 80 routines under an official judge. A minimum of 30 routines in a Funclass and 50 routines in an official classes are compulsory. But we do advise to try to shadow judge more than the absolute minimum!
The shadow judging needs to be passed in a minimum of 2 competitions, ideally under different official judges.
2.b. As a voluntary assignement as ringsteward is suggested to gain further experience, have direct contact with participants and get more secure with details of the rules.
3. After finishing the required shadow judgin, the aspirant has to send his controll sheet to the judges educator who will then check the information and grant the judges status, if everything is valid.
4. After receiving the judges status, the new judge is entered in the list of official judges on the site www.dogdance.info
