Um die langanhaltende Diskussion zu versachlichen, möchte ich folgende Fakten aufzählen.

1. Dogdance Turniere kann jede private Person, Gruppe, Verein auf eigenes Risiko veranstalten. Mir ist dabei wichtig, daß das Reglement des DDI angewandt wird.  Auszug aus dem Organisationshandbuch des DDI für Turnierveranstalter: „Zu keiner Zeit entsteht ein Vertrag zwischen Dogdance International e.V. und dem jeweiligen Turnierveranstalter.“ Das heisst: der DDI ist nicht Veranstalter eines Turniers. Zur Organisation ist keine Mitgliedschaft im DDI erforderlich. Mitglieder haben den Vorteil, daß sie in das Sponsorenprogramm aufgenommen werden können. Im Turnierkalender des DDI können auch „Turniere anderer Verbände“ eingetragen werden.

2. Die OEC hat ein eigenes Reglement, welches der DDI akzeptiert. Die Qualifikation für deutsche Teilnehmer wird nach DDI Reglement ausgeführt.

3. Zur FCI-WM ist der VDH allein meldeberechtigt. In der Vergangenheit führte der DDI gleichzeitig OEC und WM Qualifikation durch, die Sportler hatten die Wahl sich für eines oder beides anzumelden. Startberechtige Teams wurden dem VDH weiterempfohlen, dem es aber immer frei stand ein eigenes Team zu melden. Um die Qualifikationssicherheit für deutsche Sportler zu gewährleisten, wurde Dogdance Deutschland gegründet, der dem über den DVG dem VDH angeschlossen ist. Unsere Schweizer DDI-Mitglieder haben diesen Weg schon früher eingeschlagen, diesem Beispiel sind wir in Deutschlands gefolgt.

4. Am 16. Juli 2018 wurde auf der Homepage des DDI dogdance.info folgender Vorstandsbeschluß veröffentlicht: „ Der Dogdance International e.V. veranstaltet künftig keine offiziellen Qualifikationen zu Turnieren,  die nach Reglements durchgeführt werden, welche unserer Satzung widersprechen.“ Somit verzichtet der DDI auf eigene Qualifikationen für die WM.

5. Dem VDH ist es nach 2017 auch 2019 gelungen, die WM nach Deutschland zu holen. Eine Veranstaltung, bei der unser Sport sehr stark wahrgenommen wird, mit unschätzbarem Wert für unsere Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Printmedien und Fernsehen sind vor Ort und berichten überregional, international von unserem Sport, über den Lifestream kann man in aller Welt den Wettbewerb verfolgen. Durch meine Kontakte zur Messe Stuttgart kann die WM während der Heimtiermesse Animal ausgetragen werden.  Für Sportler des DDI ist es ungemein einfacher, in Stuttgart zu starten als wie von der FCI ursprünglich geplant in Shanghai.

6. Der von mir ins Leben gerufene Nations Cup wird 2019 an einem anderen Ort stattfinden. Weitere Informationen folgen.

7. Die deutsche Qualifikation zur WM findet auf Beschluss des VDH in Dortmund statt auf der VDH-Messe Hund und Katz. An der offenen VDH-DM sind alle Hunde aus dem In - und Ausland startberechtigt, zur WM Qualifikation müssen die FCI-Kriterien erfüllt sein. Das Lizenzheft des DDI wird als Leistungsnachweis anerkannt.

1. Vorsitzende des Dogdance International e.V.

To make the long-term discussion objective, I would like to list the following facts.

1. Any private person, group or club can organise and host dogdance tournaments at their own risk. It is important to me that the DDI regulations are applied.
   Here an excerpt from the DDI organization manual for tournament organizers: "No contract is made between Dogdance International e.V. and the respective tournament organizer at any time.“ That means: the DDI is not the organizer of a tournament. The organization does not require membership in the DDI. Members, however, have the advantage that they can be incorporated in the sponsorship program. „Tournaments of other federations" can also be registered in the official DDI tournament calendar.

2. The OEC has its own regulations, which the DDI accepts. The qualifiers for German participants are carried out in accordance to DDI regulations.

3. For the FCI-WM the VDH alone is entitled to register participants. In the past, the DDI carried out both, OEC and Worldcup qualifiers and the participants had the choice to register for one or both. Qualified teams were recommended to the VDH, but it was always free to register their own team. In order to guarantee that German athletes could qualifyi, Dogdance Germany was founded, which is connected to the VDH via the DVG. Our Swiss DDI members have selected this approach earlier, and we have now followed this example in Germany.

4. On July 16, 2018, the following board decision was published on the homepage of the DDI: dogdance.info: „For the future, Dogdance International e.V. will no longer organize official qualifiers for tournaments, which are conducted in accordance to regulations, which contradict our statutes."
   Therefore, the DDI refrains from its own qualifiiers for the Worldcup.

5. After 2017, the VDH also succeeded in bringing the World Cup to Germany again in 2019, an event where our sport is very much appreciated and an event of extreme value for public relations. Print media aa well as television are always present and report about our sport nationally and internationally and on lifestream you can follow the competition all around the world. Due to my contacts to Trade Fair Stuttgart, the World Cup can be held during the pet fair „Animal“. For participants of the DDI, it is much easier to start in Stuttgart than in (as originally planned by the FCI) Shanghai.

6. The Nations Cup which I originated, will be held in another location in 2019. Further information will follow.

7. The VDH decided, that the German qualifiers for the World Cup will take place in Dortmund at the VDH fair „Hund und Katz“. For the VDH-German Open, all dogs from Germany and abroad are allowed to participate, for the Worldcup qualifiers the FCI criteria must be fulfilled. The license booklet of the DDI is acknowledged as proof of achievement.
