Statement Ergänzung

Weitere Fakten:

Mail Melanie Felix

Message from Jana to the Board at 17.10. 9:12

Main message: "Why was the World Cup qualifier withdrawn from the North Cup tournament?". An extraordinary board meeting should take place to discuss the matter.

We do indeed have monthly board meetings. The last one was on the 1st of October, the next will be on the 12.11.2018

The wish of the extraordinary meeting could be fulfilled on 19.10.2018 at 3.30 pm. Unfortunately, after a short period of time at 16:08 Skype collapsed so that the session was cancelled without result.

On 20.10.2018 Jana announced that she wants to resign from her office as treasurer and accused the participants of the meeting of unprofessional behavior. (Skype is a medium used to communicate among the 5 board members Skype is not on the board 🙂 Just a little joke)

Why was the Worldcup qualifier withdrawn from the North Cup tournament?

On July 16, 2018, the following decision of the Board was published on the homepage of the DDI: "For the future, Dogdance International e.V. will no longer organize official qualifiers for tournaments, which are carried out according to regulations, which contradict our statutes." Thus, the DDI renounced its own qualifier for the Worldcup. The statement regarding this topic was made because of an request by Melanie Felix, as requested in her mail on 17. 6.2018 to the Board. In that mail she wrote that she wants to do the OEC qualifier and no qualifiers for the FCI Worldcup . (Might this have backfired?)
Mail by Melanie Felix - Translation

So it was already known on the 16th of July that the OEC qualifier will take place -as planned- at the Nord Cup Tournament, the Worldcup qualifier would not. In a mail, I have explicitly pointed this out to the organizer and the entire board on July 17.

On October 1st, via mail, I pointed out to the organizer again that the announcement "Worldcup qualifier" is not correct. On October 8, the registration for the tournament started. Already on October 10, the organizer was able to post on Facebook that „The tournament is fully booked".

In my application for the election as President (as it was published on the DDI website) the following could have been read. "I have been chairman of the newly founded Dogdance Deutschland association since February 2018." (For the reasons for founding this association: see my statement of 24.10.2018.) Continued from the application: "The association is connected to the DVG and thus the VDH. Our goal is to build a stable connection between the DDI and the VDH. We have already achieved the first goals, the DDI regulations were officially recognized by the DVG.

Now that Dogdance has officially become a FCI sport, I want to actively work there to represent the position and especially the goals of the DDI. I have been sent to the FCI Dogdancing Commission via Dogdance Germany. The FCI regulations do not meet my expectations for a sport without barriers. Although the regulation for pedigree dogs "only" affects the starters of the World Cup, nevertheless I would like to accomplish a change of thinking there. "

So, then I was elected by a large majority.

In my opinion, it is beneficial for the DDI if the President is represented in several committees dealing with dogdance. I do not fight against clubs or associations. I am involved nationally and internationally in Dogdance affairs, and the goals of the DDI.

By the way, the "I" of DDI stands for international
