Dear members, dear dogdancers!

In recent weeks the managing board of DDI e.V. received more than 60 applications for the
implementation of our statutes in accordance with § 10 (1) c. from the ranks of the
members. This section of our Articles of Association states that an extraordinary members
meeting must be convened if a board member resigns , preferably within three months.
Meanwhile, a total of four board members have resigned since last May for different
reasons, or have not accepted their election as a board member. Meanwhile Jana Lorenz
assumed her job as treasurer again.
Among other things the current development of the DDI e.V. – mainly in Germany-was
mentioned as the reason for these applications. These developments relate for example to
cooperation with other national associations.
A number of things have been going on for a year now, and we also think it is important
and right to exchange views on the issues. Of course, we take the wishes of our members
seriously and want to represent our members in the best possible way. That is why we are
announcing here that we are holding an extraordinary general meeting.

The key data:
The extraordinary general meeting will take place on 09.03.2019 from 11 am to 6.30
pm at Mercure Hotel Frankfurt Airport, Eisenbahnstr. 200, 63303 Dreieich, Germany.

During the lunch break the members who want to, can watch the International Freestyle
Competition together live from Crufts in Birmingham.

The venue is very centrally located in Germany and is easily accessible by train and plane.
The date is on the only weekend in the near future, with sufficient advance, on which no
further DDI e.V.-tournament is advertised. We need to specify a limited time to ensure
that a translator can work for us during the whole meeting. The time of the meeting end
is therefore not flexible. The hotel offers participants of the members meeting a quota of
discounted rooms. To get a room in this contingent, you can specify that you belong to the
DDI e.V.
All further information and an official invitation can be found on the website no later than
four weeks before the members meeting.
