Information zur Richterausbildung/Information on judges training

Liebe Mitglieder,

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Bescheid.

Dear members,

Over the last few weeks, we've been receiving regular inquiries about how judges training is progressing, and now we can finally give you an update.

Judges training in Dogdance International e.V. is an internationally recognized education. For this to remain the case, a reform is inevitable. For the last year's General Meeting in Lenzkirch in May, there were two entries for judges training, both with great ideas. As a result, it was decided that a working group should be set up to merge both applications. So that no existing judge gets into time trouble, all existing judges were confirmed in their status until 31.12.2019. The result of the working group was sent to the then Board last fall, but could not be finalized.

At our extraordinary meeting in Frankfurt on 09.03.2019, Sandra Schneider had once again called attention to the topic by means of an application so that the reform of the judiciary would not be forgotten.

The General Meeting has decided that this application will be sent as a member survey to the members, to help the Board in the formation of opinions, so that it can decide in the interests of its members.

This poll was sent around today, 15/05/2019, and we hope for a lot of participation. If you have not received this survey, please contact Sandra Schneider by mail on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Our judges are not only booked within the DDI e.V., but they also have many missions under other regulations. At this point we would like to point out once again that the DDI e.V. does not block its judges for missions under other regulations. Our judges may continue to judge any Dogdance Tournament they wish. That's one of the liberal principles we do not want to change.

Thank you for your cooperation,
Your Board of the DDI e.V.
